The InSinkErator PRT PowerRinse® Trough is a comprehensive food waste collection system designed for efficiency and ease of use. It operates with a minimal water requirement of just 1 GPM (3.79 LPM) while delivering an impressive recirculated water flow capability of 70 GPM (264.98 LPM). This system features dry start protection and adjustable run time for optimal performance.
The pre-plumbed and pre-wired base assembly includes essential components such as a control unit, solenoid, and pump, with additional plumbing needed for the trough. The package comes complete with a trough diffuser assembly, integrated air gap, and a durable stainless steel mounting tray.
Included are a base assembly, basket cover, pump housing, a 1/4" pump inlet screen, and a pump impeller. The 1/4" perforated scrap basket features four ergonomic handles for easy handling, while flanged feet ensure stability. The system also includes check valves, a 2" drain discharge, and 1/2" NPT water inlets, making it a robust solution for efficient food waste management.
